SPECIAL ASSESSMENT HEARING MINUTES

September 1, 2010 – 7:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rob Scott at 7:05P.M.

Members present:  Managers Mark Anderson, Bill Congdon and Rob Scott.

Members absent: Dave Adams and Darrell Scott.

Also present:  S.E.H. Engineer Randy Jenniges, Clerk/Treasurer Jo Ann Pohlman, a reporter from the Cook News-Herald and a reporter from the Timberjay.

Chairman Scott opened the Hearing by explaining its purpose.  The purpose was to discuss the redistribution of the Special Assessments assigned to the Voyageur Lakes Development property.  Special Assessments were assigned to the former Borderland parcel codes 308-0030-03544, 03530, 03543 and 03536 in 2004.  Parcel Codes 03544, 03530, and 03543 were removed and Parcel Code 03536 was reduced in size in 2007 when VLD formed their CIC.  All Special Assessments previously on parcel codes 308-0030-03544, 03530, 03543 and 03536 were moved to the reduced in size parcel code 03536. 38 new parcel codes were assigned to the CIC. The District wishes to reassign the remainder of the original Special Assessments to the new parcel codes equally.
